This is another little project that I put together last month. I will write a more in depth post about the components, board settings, and flight behavior when I have some more time. It uses inexpensive parts and flies quite well. There was a bit of trial and error involved (a few broken props) getting this thing flying...

4 Post Bed Project
I have let this blog die for the past year or so, and I thought I would start it back up with a recent project.
During the past few days of flooding and destruction in Canmore and surrounding Alberta I tried to do something constructive, and I have built myself a 4 post bed frame. This is the first bed frame I have ever owned since leaving home in Bend.

The bed is constructed of construction grade pine and took a fair amount of sanding to get into shape.
As suggested by my brother, Jared, I choose to use 2x6s at a 90 degrees for the uprights. It is incredibly study and the bed has absolutely no movement or play.
